Privacy Policy

Plain English, same as everything else we write. This explains what information Blue Collar Spider collects, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to get it deleted.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Who we are

Blue Collar Spider (“Blue Collar Spider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a growth operator for HVAC companies in the United States. This policy covers bluecollarspider.com and the services we deliver through it — growth audits, local search and Google Business Profile work, lead response, and reputation management.

It applies to you if you visit our site, fill out a form, book a call, call or text our number, or become a client. If you are a homeowner who contacted an HVAC company that uses our tools, see Data we handle for clients.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, book a call, email us, or call or text us, we may collect:

  • Your name and the name of your business
  • Email address and phone number
  • What you're trying to accomplish and anything else you write in the message field
  • Notes from our conversations, including calls and meetings

Information we collect automatically. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical data when you load a page:

  • IP address and approximate region
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps

Information from third parties. If you book through our scheduling tool or reach us through a Google listing or ad, that provider passes us the details you submitted there — typically your name, email, and what you selected.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information: Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or government ID numbers. Please don't put any of that in a form or a text message.

3. How we use it

We use what we collect to:

  • Answer you, run your free growth audit, and schedule calls
  • Deliver, operate, and support the services a client has hired us for
  • Send service messages — appointment confirmations, reports, and account notices
  • Send follow-ups and marketing about our services, where permitted (you can opt out at any time)
  • Understand which pages and channels bring in the right kind of inquiry, so we can improve the site
  • Keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. We don't sell or trade lead lists.

4. Calls, texts, and AI agents

Text messages. If you give us your phone number, you agree we may contact you at that number about your inquiry or your account, including by SMS. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Phone calls. Calls to or from our number may be recorded or transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping. Where the law requires consent, you will be told at the start of the call and can ask us not to record.

Automated and AI-assisted handling. Some of our services use automated systems, including AI assistants, to answer calls, reply to inquiries, draft messages, and summarize conversations. That means the content of a call, text, or form submission may be processed by an AI provider acting on our behalf under contract. Those providers are not permitted to use your information to train their models or for their own purposes. You can always ask to be handled by a person instead.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site uses only what it needs to function and to keep basic server logs. We do not currently run advertising pixels or third-party behavioral tracking on bluecollarspider.com. Embedded tools you choose to open — like our scheduling page — set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this section and the “last updated” date above before or at the time they go live. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as opt-out requests where applicable law requires it.

6. Who we share it with

We share information only with parties that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Hosting and infrastructure — to serve the website and store data
  • Communications providers — email, phone, and SMS delivery
  • Scheduling — the booking tool that runs our calendar
  • AI and automation providers — to draft, route, and summarize messages on our behalf
  • Business tools — CRM, accounting, and reporting systems
  • Professional advisors — lawyers and accountants, when needed

Each of these is bound by contract to use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our agreements, to protect someone's safety or our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

7. Data we handle for clients

When we run lead response, reputation, or listing services for an HVAC company, we handle information about that company's customers — names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, job details, and message content.

For that information we act as a service provider (a processor) to our client. The client decides what is collected and why; we use it only to deliver the services they hired us for, under contract, and never for our own marketing.

If you are a homeowner: the HVAC company you contacted is responsible for its own privacy practices, and its policy governs. Send access or deletion requests to that company. If you reach out to us directly, we will forward your request to them and help them fulfill it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, then delete or anonymize it. In practice: inquiries that don't turn into work are cleared out within about two years; client records are kept for the length of the engagement and then as long as tax, accounting, and contract rules require — usually seven years. Server logs roll off within months. Data we hold on behalf of a client is deleted or returned when that engagement ends, per our agreement with them.

9. How we protect it

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable vendors, and we limit who on our side can see what. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but if a breach affects your information, we will notify you and any required regulator as the law requires.

10. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Give you a copy of it
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop sending you marketing — unsubscribe in any email, or reply STOP to any text

Depending on your state or country, you may also have the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising (we don't do either), to limit use of sensitive information (we don't collect it), to appeal a denied request, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

Email hello@bluecollarspider.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We'll confirm within 10 days and respond within 45 days, and we'll tell you if we need more time. We may need to verify who you are before we act. An authorized agent can submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

11. Children

This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we'll give you notice by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
